HE Minister of Municipality Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie met today with a number of ministers and officials in charge of agriculture and food security, on the sidelines of the International Conference on Food Security in Samarkand, the Republic of Uzbekistan.
HE the Minister of Municipality met with HE Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkiye Ibrahim Yumakli, HE Minister of Agriculture Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Voitov, HE Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Majnun Mammadov, HE Minister of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic Askarbek Zhanybekov, and HE Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan Kurbon Hakimzoda, in addition to HE Director-General of Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) QU Dongyu, and HE Director-General of Islamic Organization for Food Security Yerlan Baidaulet.
The meetings discussed cooperation relations in areas of common interest between the State of Qatar and the aforementioned countries and international organizations, particularly in the fields of agriculture and food security, as well as ways to enhance and develop these relations.
