The Al Falah Residential City is one of the citizen residential projects that have been launched in continuation of the approach of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who was keen on providing citizens with appropriate homes, facilities and services. The late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan believed that the prosperity and well-being of UAE citizens were the basis and goal of all development plans, and it is in continuation of this approach that the orders of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and follow up of Gen. H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, ensue to provide luxurious residential units in order to ensure a higher standard of living and a better future for all citizens.

Jabr Mohammed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court and chairman of the housing allocation committee in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, noted that the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan focus on providing all means of decent living and welfare for citizens, especially comfortable, modern homes that ensure a happy family life.

Al Suwaidi further said that the Al Falah project is one in a series of other projects that have been initiated following the tradition started by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to provide citizens with decent homes that ensure a stable and stress-free living, a tradition that our wise leadership has since pledged to uphold.

From this perspective, Gen. H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has given priority in Abu Dhabi’s ambitious development plans to building appropriate houses and residential complexes to the highest international standards to be built by pioneering, local companies and allotted to beneficiary UAE families. The project is an integrated system of world-class, sustainable infrastructure and facilities that conform to the growing urban and civilized development of the UAE and meet the modern demands of citizens.

Al Suwaidi noted that this integrated project comes within the context of the ongoing grants of our wise leadership and is part of an initiative that was launched by the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council in 2010 with the aim of providing varied residential options for future generations, preserving and reinforcing our national identity and supporting our lifestyle and housing preferences. The orders and directives emphasized the speedy delivery of the residential units according to the approved allocation committee lists, which have been carefully studied and based on specific criteria. Al Suwaidi further noted that there will be several upcoming allocations in all areas in order to provide an appropriate environment for the well-being of citizens.

The Al Falah Residential City provides beneficiaries with the means for a decent and stable life, thus encouraging them to increase their contribution to the march of development in the country. This reflects the keen interest of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to provide a dignified living for citizens enabling them to start stable families that are capable of participating effectively in building the nation.

On his part, Falah Al Ahbabi, General Manager of the Urban Planning Council, said that Al Falah Residential City is an ambitious housing project for citizens that has been realized thanks to the directives and support of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the dedicated follow-up of H.H. the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, who personally supervised the general plan of the city based on his keen interest in such projects that aim to provide a decent living for citizens.

Al Ahbabi further said that the Al Falah Residential City is a perfect example for the collaboration among all sectors in Abu Dhabi for achieving strategic goals and reflect the commitment of Abu Dhabi’s government to realizing the Abu Dhabi 2030 Vision by nurturing a sustainable, modern society that preserves its national identity and enjoys better living standards.

The project consists of 4,857 villas along with facilities distributed over 5 neighborhoods, each with public facilities including mosques, schools, social facilities and stores of different types. The public facilities are situated close to the residential units, in addition to a central building for the whole project that includes all the necessary service facilities including a shopping mall, a hospital and commercial offices.

The project features innovative architectural designs that fit with the UAE citizens’ lifestyle and encourage stronger social bonds through the existence of several parks and yards in the residential, commercial and entertainment units of the project. There are three architectural patterns that blend with modern designs and at the same time keep the traditional spirit of the UAE. This will help further a sustainable society that preserves and upholds the UAE identity and living standards.
