Manama, Ambassador Fatima Abdullah Al Dhaen, Director General of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with Dr. Tasnim Atatrah, the Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Bahrain.
The director general praised the WHO’s efforts during the past years, reviewing means to promote future cooperation opportunities between the two sides to improve public health and develop the health systems in the kingdom.
Dr. Atatrah thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its continuous support, emphasising the WHO’s commitment to continue working with Bahrain to achieve the health-related sustainable development goals.
The two sides also reviewed the efforts of the WHO in the kingdom and discussed existing projects and their positive impact on the health sector.
