HE Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the United Mexican States Marcelo Ebrard said that the remarkable Qatari presence in various sports and cultural activities in Mexico represents a unique strategy for strengthening bilateral relations and bonds of cooperation between the two countries.
This came in a speech delivered by HE Marcelo Ebrard on a sporting occasion organized by the Institute for Mexicans Abroad of the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs, in which HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Mexico Mohammed bin Jassim Al Kuwari participated.
In a speech at the occasion, HE Mohammed bin Jassim Al Kuwari underlined that sport represents an important cultural dimension within the framework of bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and Mexico, pointing out that football was and still is one of the most important activities that brought the peoples of the two countries close over the past years, especially with as the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 approaches.
