Makkah: As part of the “Awon” initiative, the Makkah Chamber of Commerce is participating in the Hajj season this year. The organization will serve the pilgrims arriving in Makkah via the Haramain High-Speed Railway Station through a volunteer team with the aim of creating a positive image that will enrich their experience.
The “Awon” initiative is designed to offer support and assistance to pilgrims in five primary areas: medical and health services, first aid, field services, guidance and support, and translation services in multiple languages.
These are accomplished through a qualified team of 700 male and female national volunteers.
