Head of the Change Movement, Attorney Elie Mahfoud, considered that "achieving a comprehensive collapse may be the beginning of launching a workshop to rebuild the state." He said in a statement on Sunday: "The shuttle visits of the delegates to Lebanon will yield no president at the present time, as if what is required is to empty the state of the security, military and financial authorities in order to achieve a comprehensive collapse..." He added: "This matter may be the beginning of the overthrow of the Lebanese establishment in preparation for the next stage to embark on the workshop of rebuilding a modern civil state."
