Lebanese Foreign Minister offers condolences over martyrs of Military Academy

Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, received a cable of condolence from his Lebanese counterpart, Minister Abdallah Bou Habib, on the martyrs of the terrorist attack that targeted a graduation ceremony at the Military Academy’s cadets in Homs last Thursday.

Minister Bou Habib, in a telephone call, affirmed Lebanon’s support for Syria in this ordeal, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured, and continued stability in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Both sides discussed the recent developments in Gaza, and preparations for holding an emergency meeting of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers in Cairo.

They also talked about the visit of Minister Bou Habib to Syria.

In turn, Mikdad expressed his gratitude for the good feelings conveyed by the Lebanese Minister.

Mikdad stressed the necessity of enhancing Arab action during those difficult times to ensure the achievement of common Arab interests in all fields, confronting the crimes committed by terrorists and the Israeli occupation, and confronting their plans and ambitions in the Arab region.
