Jordan’s Foreign Ministry Warns of Continued Israeli Occupation Violations in Al Aqsa

The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that the continued attacks of the Israeli occupation police on worshipers and attempts to change the historical and legal status quo in the blessed Al Aqsa Mosque and to impose a division in it, represent a dangerous escalation and a condemned and unacceptable violation of international law and the responsibilities of Israel as the occupying power.

Petra News Agency reported that the ministry's spokesperson, Ambassador Sinan Majali, said that Israel bears full responsibility for the serious consequences of the continued escalation, which exacerbates the situation and threatens to explode the spiral of violence. He urged the international community to assume its responsibilities, and to take immediate action to stop the Israeli attacks on the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and on the sacred right of worshipers to perform their religious rituals.
