Jordanian Foreign Minister Receives Phone Call from Iranian Counterpart

Amman, July 30 (QNA) – Jordan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh received today a telephone call from his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif.

During the phone conversation Judeh stressed Jordan’s position calling for an immediate cessation of fire in the Gaza Strip and the Jordanian efforts at the UN Security Council. He stressed the importance of supporting the Egyptian initiative in this regard.

The two ministers agreed on the need for concerted efforts in order to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.(QNA)
