Jordan FM Meets US Counterpart

Amman, June 22 (QNA) – Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh met on Sunday with the US Secretary of State John Kerry.

Jordan’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the two sides discussed bilateral relations and a number of Middle East issues, namely the Syrian crisis, the latest developments in Iraq and the stalled peace negotiations and ways to revive them. They stressed the importance of exerting concerted efforts by all relevant parties and the international community to address the current situation in Iraq.

Judeh voiced hope that all concerned parties in Iraq work together to achieve national harmony and consensus and establish an all-encompassing political process representative of all components of the Iraqi people. (QNA)
