Israeli bombing targets a hospital in northern Gaza and martyrs throughout the Strip

Gaza - Ma'an - On Monday, Israeli artillery bombed the upper floor of the 'Al Awda Hospital' in the northern Gaza Strip in conjunction with its continuation of its siege for two days, while a number of Palestinians were martyred and injured in the bombing of several homes in the north and south of the Strip. Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli occupation army targeted the upper floor of Al Awda Hospital in the 'Tal al-Zaatar' area in the town of Jabalia with an artillery shell, without any reports of casualties. On Sunday, Al Awda Hospital announced in a brief statement that the Israeli occupation forces had imposed a siege on it, preventing medical teams from providing treatment to the sick and wounded. The Palestinian Civil Defense Service in the northern Gaza Strip also said in a statement on Sunday that the Israeli occupation army fired artillery shells towards 'Al Awda Hospital.' In a related context, a number of Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli air strike that targ eted them in the vicinity of 'Kamal Adwan Hospital' in the northern Gaza Strip, according to what medical sources reported. The Ministry of Health in Gaza and international and international organizations had previously warned of the Israeli occupation army's targeting of the health system in the Strip, and its repercussions on the wounded and sick Palestinians, while Tel Aviv ignored these warnings. The occupation aircraft bombed a house for the Al-Kahlot family in the Beit Lahia project area in the northern Gaza Strip, according to eyewitnesses. The Israeli occupation army began new incursions 9 days ago into Jabalia and some surrounding areas under heavy fire cover, targeting dozens of homes and infrastructure in the camp, which is inhabited by hundreds of thousands of residents and those displaced from the northern areas of the Gaza Strip. On May 11, the Israeli occupation army ordered the displacement of all residents and displaced persons in the areas of Jabalia, the neighborhoods of Al-Salam, Al-No ur, Tal Al-Zaatar, the Beit Lahia project, the Jabalia camp, Ezbet Mlin, and the neighborhoods of Al-Rawda, Al-Nuzha, Al-Jarn, Al-Nahda, and Al-Zuhur 'immediately,' and to move toward the west of Gaza City. In the vicinity of 'Ali Mosque' in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, a number of martyrs and wounded were killed as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a group of Palestinians. Three Palestinians were also killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted a home for the Abu Azoum family in the center of Rafah, according to medical sources at the Kuwaiti Hospital in the city. A number of injuries arrived at the Kuwaiti Hospital as a result of Israeli occupation aircraft targeting a house for the Tabasi family in the Musabah area, north of the city of Rafah, according to the same sources. The Israeli occupation army continues its military operation against Rafah, which it began on May 6, ignoring regional and international warnings about the repercussions of this, in light of the pre sence of about 1.4 million displaced people in the city, which it pushed there under the claim that it was 'safe.' The operation on Rafah led to the forced displacement of more than 630,000 people to the city of Deir al-Balah in the center of the Strip, according to UNRWA, which said that the city was 'unbearably overcrowded and suffering from miserable conditions.' The Israeli war on Gaza, which has been ongoing since October 7, left more than 115,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and about 10,000 missing amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of children and the elderly. The Israeli occupation forces continue the war on Gaza despite the issuance of a resolution by the UN Security Council to stop the fighting immediately, and also despite the International Court of Justice demanding immediate measures to prevent acts of 'genocide' and improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
