The Israeli army’s warplanes renewed their raids on the southern suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut.
A Lebanese security source said that the Madi and Bir Al Abd neighborhoods were targeted with several missiles, while no additional details were available yet.
The Israeli army escalated its air and artillery attacks on villages and towns in southern Lebanon, coinciding with its devastating war on the Gaza Strip since October 2023, amid international and UN warnings of an explosion in the situation in the region.
