IRAN ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF THE CREW OF THE SHIP LINKED TO ISRAEL

Iran has released all crew members of the MSC Aries, a square ship equivalent to 15,000 TEU, which was seized by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps last month, according to "Russia Today". Speaking to Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said the detained ship had switched off its transponders in Iran's territorial waters and endangered "navigation security." The ship linked to Israel remains anchored near three other ships seized by Iranian special forces. Abdollahian said that his country released 25 crew members of the ship MSC ARIES, which is partly owned by Israel, noting that the crew members were released for humanitarian reasons.
