New York, On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today attended the opening session of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 79), held at the UN Headquarters in New York.
His Royal Highness highlighted the pivotal role of the United Nations in uniting global efforts to advance international security and stability.
The opening session featured speeches from several heads of state and delegates, who stressed their countries’ commitment to supporting the international community’s efforts to resolve conflicts and foster regional and global peace.
