HM King receives Shaikh Duaij bin Salman

Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received today Shaikh Duaij bin Salman Al Khalifa, Second Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), at Al Sakhir Palace. During the meeting, Shaikh Duaij bin Salman presented HM the King with a book titled "The King, A Leader and Sports Pioneer," which was prepared with the endorsement of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of SCYS. The book, spanning four chapters and 334 pages, chronicles the stages of HM the King's lifelong engagement in sports, from his early years through his education, official positions, various athletic pursuits, leadership and support for achieving professional sports success and establishing Bahrain's golden era in sports. The book also highlights HM the King's support for the youth of Bahrain. HM King Hamad commended the valuable content of the book, which documents the key milestones of HM the King's support for the sports sector and the development of young talent in the Kingdom. HM the King expressed his appreciation for this publication and the efforts that went into its preparation. HM the King commended the efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in developing the Kingdom's sports and youth sector. HM the King lauded the contributions of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of SCYS, and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), to advancing the Kingdom's youth and sports sector. HM the King commended the efforts and dedication of Bahraini youth and athletes in elevating the Kingdom's standing in the sports field. Shaikh Duaij bin Salman expressed his appreciation to HM the King for the praise for the book and the royal support it has received.
