Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (59) of 2024 on restructuring the General Sports Authority (GSA), based on a proposal by the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and following the approval of the Cabinet.
Article I
The GSA shall be restructured as follows:
Chief Executive Officer of the GSA, overseeing:
First: Human and Financial Resources Directorate
Second: Monitoring and Audit Directorate
Third: Deputy Chief Executive Officer (at the rank of Assistant Undersecretary), overseeing:
1- Facilities Directorate
2- Projects Directorate
3- Legal Affairs and Licensing Directorate
4- Sports Affairs Directorate
Article II
The Chairman of the SCYS shall implement this decree, which takes effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
