Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, received a cable of congratulations from His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), on the occasion of Bahrain winning the gold medal in the women’s 3000m steeplechase race at the Paris 2024 Olympics, achieved by Bahraini athlete Winfred Yavi.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah expressed his pride in the honourable achievement of Bahraini runner Winfred Yavi, who achieved a new Olympic record.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah attributed this significant accomplishment to the unwavering support of HM the King, which has motivated athletes to excel and achieve several sports achievements.
