Doha (QNA): HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani participated on Tuesday morning in the activities of the National Sport Day.
HH the Amir practiced walking in Al Bayt Stadium Park's walkway, with the participation of a number of primary schools students, within the context of raising awareness among young people of the importance of sport and encouraging them to adopt healthy lifestyles and take care of physical fitness.
The Park has green spaces surrounding the entire Al Bayt Stadium, which is scheduled to host the opening match of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The Park also includes sports facilities, tracks for running and cycling, in addition to horse riding track. The park is one of the most prominent projects that is considered a legacy that will be used after the World Cup.
