Hamas Denies Truce Agreement

Gaza, July 29 (QNA) – Palestinian Hamas movement denies that it has accepted a unilateral truce.

A senior aide to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Yasser Abed Rabbo, was not representing Hamas and the Palestinian “resistance” when he announced the truce, said Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri.

Abed Rabbo’s announcement is “not correct,” he said.

“When we get an Israeli commitment with international guarantees regarding a humanitarian truce, then we will study it. But to declare a unilateral ceasefire while the occupying forces are killing our children – this will not be,” he added.(QNA)
