GOIC Present Training, Technical Support Programs in Project Qatar 2014

Doha, May 11 (QNA) – The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) will take part in the 11th International Construction Technology and Building Materials Exhibition “Project Qatar 2014” which will be held at Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) during the period 12-15 May.

In a press release today, GOIC Secretary General Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Ageel said that GOIC’s continuous participation highlights the Organization’s will to contribute to the construction boom in GCC countries and Yemen, particularly in Qatar. “In this regard, the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting, a renowned expertise hub in the region, seeks to offer services through a series of specialised programs, researches, consulting and technical services to both public and private sectors in GCC countries and Yemen,” he said.

GOIC will seize this opportunity to shed light upon the Industrial Market Intelligence Portal (IMI Plus), one of the most comprehensive industrial and socioeconomic databases in GCC countries and Yemen, the statement said, explaining that visitors will be shown how to subscribe to the IMI Plus portal and use its services.

IMI Plus is the first and only portal publishing accurate, updated and accredited industrial and socioeconomic data from seven countries. It includes the Gulf Industries Database (GID) with vital information on more than 15000 factories operating in the region and more than 8000 other factories in the process of registration and certifying. In addition, the Foreign Trade Database contains detailed statistics about imports, exports and re-exported goods for the Gulf region and for every country in the form of timelines. Moreover, the Socioeconomic Database includes more than 400 socioeconomic and demographic indicators about the Gulf. (QNA)
