Jassem Mohamed Al budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), met with Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Yemen and the General Supervisor of the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen.
He emphasized the GCC’s support of Yemeni legitimacy represented by the Presidential Leadership Council and the legitimate government.
Albudaiwi stressed the council's support for the United Nations' efforts to reach a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis.
The secretary-general praised the efforts of the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) in the Yemeni governorates to achieve security and stability in the region.
