GCC Secretary-General condemns Houthis’ terrorist attacks

Riyadh, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack on Samtah Governorate, Jazan Region, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in the death and injury of many Saudis and residents as a result of the fall of a military projectile launched by the Houthi terrorist militia.

Dr. Al-Hajraf said that the Houthi terrorist militia’s deliberate and continued attacks amount to war crimes as they target deliberately civilians and protected civilian objects with special protection under the international humanitarian law and its rules.

In a statement today, he denounced the Houthis’ terrorist attacks which represent a flagrant violation of the international norms and laws, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities and take decise measures to stop these aggressive acts.

Dr. Al-Hajraf affirmed the GCC countries' solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against everything that targets its security, stability and territorial integrity.
