Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi strongly condemned the despicable act perpetrated by extremists who burned a copy of the Holy Quran in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The GCC chief indicated that continued heinous and irresponsible acts fuel extremism and hatred of religions,
He urged the Kingdom of Denmark to act immediately and hold extremists accountable, in accordance with international laws, conventions and norms that stipulate protection and respect of religions.
