GCC chief: Saudi-African Summit reflects Saudi Arabia’s global status, pivotal role

Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), said that the Saudi-African Summit reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s global stature and its pivotal role in boosting relations with African countries, serving the common interests of both sides.

He said this summit opened new and broad horizons between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and participating African countries to discuss and enhance cooperation in all fields.

The GCC Secretary General extended thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for hosting this summit, stating that it will yield benefits for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, GCC countries and the region.
