Foreign Minister’s Special Envoy Meets Several British Officials

HE Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani met separately on Thursday with HE British Minister of State for Middle East and North Africa James Cleverly, HE the UK Chair of the Joint Intelligence Committee and Prime Minister's Special Representative for the Afghan Transition Sir Simon Gass, HE the UK Prime Minister's Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Nigel Casey, HE the UK Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa and Red Sea Philip Parham, and HE Director of the National Security at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office Chris Rampling, during His Excellency's current visit to the UK.

During the meetings, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, regional and international developments, and efforts to combat terrorism, in addition to the latest developments in the Afghan issue and issues of common interest.
