Foreign Minister holds call with PLO Secretary General

Manama, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Foreign Affairs Minister, today held a phone call with Hussein Al Sheikh, Secretary General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO).

They discussed the Bahraini-Palestinian relations, joint political and diplomatic action and coordination and means ways to address the dangerous conditions that the Palestinian territories are witnessing in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

They also discussed regional and international efforts for a deescalation and a ceasefire, protection of civilians, and the delivery of urgent aid to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
