Manama, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Finance and National Economy Minister, received a delegation from China led by Zhao Chenxin, Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) in China. Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Mumtalakat, and Ni Ruchi, the Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain, were present. The minister underscored the bilateral cooperation between Bahrain and China and its advancement in various domains, particularly in economy, trade and investment. Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa highlighted the support of the leaderships of both countries for the development of relations, pointing to the agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoU) signed during His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's recent visit to China. He added that the royal visit laid the foundation for a new chapter of development for Bahrain-China relations.
