Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa held a meeting with the Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey.
The meeting was also attended by Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) Governor Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj, Economic Development Board (EDB) Chief Executive Officer Khalid Ibrahim Humaidan and Prime Minister’s Office Director-General Hamad Yacoub Al Mahameed.
The minister highlighted financial and banking cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom and ways of furthering joint ties to achieve aspirations and goals.
During the meeting, the minister also stressed the importance of exchanging financial and banking expertise. Latest global economic developments also came under the spotlight.
