FIFA revealed the specifics of Saudi Arabia's bid for hosting the 2034 FIFA World Cup, on Wednesday, two days after the candidacy was officially submitted in Paris, France. The candidacy highlights that Saudi Arabia will host the tournament in five key cities, namely Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar and Abha, alongside Neom, which represents one of the major projects for the future cities, through 15 state-of-the-art stadiums, including 11 completely new stadiums. Regarding the training facilities for teams, 132 training facilities have been suggested in 15 cities that will host 48 teams and their accompanying delegates, comprising 72 stadiums specifically dedicated to training camps, along with training villages devoted to referees. The candidacy offers numerous specifics on 10 diverse sites in the cities that will host the FIFA Fan Festival, as FIFA is set to select one site in each city. (QNA) Source: Qatar News Agency
