FIBA chooses GCC media committee specialists

The International Arab Boxing Federation (FIBA) chose six GCC sports journalists to carry out FIBA’s media committee tasks.

FIBA’s Board of Directors approved the committee virtually, where Mazen Al Buraiki from Oman was chosen as the Head of the committee, Abdulaziz Al Hamar from Qatar as the Vice-President, Hanan Al Balushi from the United Arab Emirates, Eman Al Turki from Saudi Arabia, Fahad Al Enezi from Kuwait and Fatima Al Najem from Bahrain as members.

League of Arab States Council Youth and Sports Plenipotentiary Minister and FIBA President Dr. Al Hadi Al Sudairy stressed the importance of sports media and its role in conveying FIBA’s news its activities and covering the federation’s international tournaments and events.

Media Committee Chairman Mazen Al Buraiki stressed that the selection reflects the developmental role of sports media in GCC countries and highlighted the participation of Gulf teams and athletes in various sports around the world.
