Dr. Mohammad bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council (HEC), received Dr. Waheeb Ahmed Al Khaja, Applied Science University (ASU) Chairman.
Dr. Diana Abdulkarim Al Jahrami, Secretary-General of the HEC, attended the meeting.
The minister stressed the importance of the HEC’s role in working to develop the outputs of higher education institutions to align them with the requirements of the labor market.
He expressed his appreciation to the ASU's keenness to develop its outcomes and expand its international partnerships.
Al Khaja extended his thanks to the ministry and the council for their support to higher education institutions.
