Copies of Holy Quran in Braille provided

Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda affirmed support people with visual impairments.

He stressed the importance of supporting their integration into society and encouraging them to recite, learn, memorize and understand Holy Qur’an teachings.

He paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, hailing their care and support to all social segments, including people of determination.

He noted that the ministry had provided a large collection of the Holy Qur’an in Braille to the blind and distributed them to various mosques in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The minister made the remarks as he received Friendship Society for the Blind Chairman Hussain Haidar Al Hulaibi, Friendship Centre for Blind Children director Ali Mohammed Hajji, Saudi Bahrain Institute for the Blind Chief Executive Latifa Isa AlBounoudha and institute director Abdulwahed Al Khayyat.
