Chinese Foreign Minister Meets Canadian Counterpart

Beijing, July 29 (QNA) – Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Tuesday met with his Canadian counterpart John Baird, who is currently visiting China.

Wang said the two countries must promote bilateral trade and create favorable conditions for cooperation in finance, investment and agriculture.

He added that China supports businesses in both countries to cooperate in oil and gas development, trade and pipeline construction in order to form a “long-term, stable partnership” in energy and resources, Xinhua reported.

For his part, Baird expressed his country’s willingness to cooperate with China more in energy, finance, investment and agriculture.(QNA)
