BIPA Director General affirms efforts to develop national skills

Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Director General to the Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) attended event held by BIPA for Tatweer Petroleum and "Takween" employees on AI in administration and decision making.

In her remarks, Dr. Shaikha Rana said that such meetings are open spaces for the exchange of scientific experiences and applied practices, noting that the institute seeks through them to keep abreast of technological developments, and manage training needs of national cadres in a way that contributes to improving services provided and raises their quality and efficiency.

She highlighted AI’s role in decision-making as it introduces trainees to the mechanisms of adapting it to opportunities commensurate with the nature of institutional work and identifying its role in decision-making in the institutional work environment.

The Director General said that the aim of BIPA's educational activities and training programmes targeting both public and private sectors, is to be aligned with national visions and government directives aimed at improving the national economy, and advancing sustainable development by investing in citizens.
