Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief met with senior BDF officers.
Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Defence Affairs Minister was present.
The Commander-in-Chief was briefed on development programmes in the BDF.
He said that under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, BDF has been able to develop and modernise all its units and combat capabilities and to maintain the highest standards in planning, leadership in military affairs.
