Manama, The Joint Economic Committee between the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) held its 41st meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, and Sameer Nass, Chairman of BCCI, in the presence of senior officials and members of the Joint Economic Committee from both sides.
The minister affirmed that the meetings of the Joint Economic Committee come as part of the Ministry's approach to cooperation, coordination and consultation with the Chamber on all common issues.
Fakhro also expressed the ministry's keenness to support all the development initiatives in the economic sector in Bahrain.
He stressed the importance of coordination with the chamber, as the main representative of the private sector in the Kingdom, to achieve aspirations and enhance Bahrain’s commercial and investment environment.
The meeting discussed topics on the agenda and followed up on topics of the previous committee meeting.
