At Least Eleven People Killed in Afghanistan

Kabul, August 30 (QNA) – At least eleven civilians were killed in a Taliban militant attack in western Farah province of Afghanistan on early Saturday, local officials said.

Provincial governor spokesman, Jawid Afghan, said the civilians who were on their way to neighboring Iran when they were shot dead by Taliban militants in Posht-e-Koh district, according to Khaama Press.

He said the civilians were looking to travel to Iran to find work as laborer and at least four others were also injured following the attack. The victims were all residents of western Farah province. (QNA)
