Ashghal Concludes 10th Ramadan Tournament 2023

Ashghals 10th Ramadan tournament 2023, which was held with the participation of more than 660 players, employees of Public Works Authority (Ashghal) and local and international companies, on Qatar Club stadiums in cooperation with Federations of Football, Basketball, Table Tennis, and Billiards & Snooker, concluded on Monday.

The closing day witnessed a large audience, which gave great enthusiasm to the competitions throughout the tournament, prizes were also drawn for the fans, in the presence of HE President of the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) Dr. Eng. Saad bin Ahmed Al Mohannadi, where he crowned the winners of 6 games, namely football, basketball, padel, table tennis, billiards, and video games (PlayStation).

The Roads Operation and Maintenance Department team (1) won the basketball competition title, in which 216 players representing 18 teams participated, after defeating the Operation and Maintenance Department team (4) in the final match, with a score of 85 to 70, Mohammed Saad Al Mughaisib President of the Qatar Basketball Federation took part in the crowning of the winners, The duo (Abdullah Khalaf and Omar Al Muftah) also won the title of the padel competition, in which 20 players participated, by defeating the duo (Ali Mustafawi and Salem Al Marri), Sandib crowned winner of the table tennis competitions, which witnessed the participation of 42 players, by defeating Khaled Mohamed in the final. Samir Waheed won the first place in the billiards competition by defeating Rolden, with the participation of 24 players, Mazen Kabbashi crowned winner of the "PlayStation" competitions, Ahmed Mashmum came in second place, and 20 players participated in the competitions.

In the football competition final, in which 345 players representing 23 teams participated, Al Nakheel team "Landscape" won the title after defeating Al Ghanim International 6-1. The Roads Operation and Maintenance Department team won the ideal team award, and Hassan Al Emadi won the championship top scorer award.
