Arab Federation of Exchanges Conference Opens in Dubai

Dubai, June 04 (QNA) – The Arab Federation of Exchanges (AFE) annual conference titled ‘ASE Equities Summit 2014’ opened here Wednesday.

Chief Executives Officers of Arab stock exchanges and experts from financial institutions are participating in the two-day conference organised in association with Thomson Reuters at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Dubai.

Qatar Stock Exchange CEO Rashid bin Al Mansoori is participating in the second panel discussion about MSCI and S&P Dow Jones upgrade and the underlying implications.

The Top Management of NASDAQ OMX, NYSE Euronext, National Stock Exchange of India, S&P Dow Jones Indices and Morgan Stanley are participating in the conference.

The AFE Board and General Assembly meetings will follow the Summit.

Al Mansoori will participate in these meetings which will see a number of decisions concerning the member exchanges as well as the approval of the Executive Committee recommendations on the AFE statements, reports for the financial year 2013, the estimated budget for 2014, and the transition of the AFE presidency to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
