Applied Science University hosts graduation ceremony

The Applied Science University (ASU) today hosted a graduation ceremony for the 15th and 16th batches which included more than 700 students.

Royal Court Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa attended the ceremony which was held at the Gulf Hotel Al Dana Ballroom under the patronage of the Minister of Education, Higher Education Council Board of Trustees’ Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma.

Addressing the ceremony, the minister paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for their support to the education sector.

The Minister of Education congratulated graduates and their parents, hailed the university’s academic academic achievements, which further consolidated its standing.

He announced the HEC’s approval of the university’s request to grant the dual degree (Dual Award) for its programs hosted by London South Bank University, which enhances its attractiveness to students from outside the Kingdom of Bahrain.

ASU Chairman Sameer Abdulla Nasser said that the board of directors will continue its role in encouraging and providing all support to the university administration to enable it to continue achieving its mission and the goals for which it was established to be a beacon of knowledge, education and scientific research.
