The Prime Minister’s Office announced today that applications for the 9th intake of the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Program will open from 3 September to 3 October 2023.
The Director General of the Prime Minister's Office, Hamad Yaqoob Al Mahmeed, highlighted that the programme reflects the far-reaching visions of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Al Mahmeed emphasised His Royal Highness’s commitment to investing in Bahraini citizens, who are an integral part of the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, to further advance government workstreams.
Al Mahmeed highlighted the programme’s role in preparing highly qualified public sector leaders through their inclusion in the 12-month programme.
Al Mahmeed highlighted that the PM Fellowship is a competitive, challenging, year-long training programme that upskills and re-skills young Bahraini leaders working in the public sector, and provides them the opportunity to learn about the Kingdom's decision-making process.
Al Mahmeed commended the efforts of previous fellows, and their contributions to furthering public sector work streams and achieving the Kingdom's wide-ranging development goals, wishing success to the 9th intake of the programme.
