Algerian National Team Player Atal Undergoes Treatment Program at Aspetar

The world-leading Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital announced today that Algerian national team and French Club Nice player Youcef Atal underwent medical examinations following his injury during his team's match against Nantes in the 27th round of the French League, two weeks ago.

Aspetar said in a statement today that 26-year-old Atal, who suffers from a muscle injury in the thigh, chose Aspetar to undergo some necessary medical examinations, in the light of which a treatment and rehabilitation program for the injury will be organized and followed.

The injury kept the Algerian international player, who won the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, from participating with his country in the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d'Ivoire.

Aspetar hospital has a partnership agreement with the Algerian Football Federation, according to which Aspetar would provide its services to the Algerian national team's players in accordance with the latest international standards, benefiting from the latest sports expertise, latest research, and world-class services provided by Aspetar, a FIFA Medical Center of Excellence accredited hospital.
