Algerian FM, Malian Counterpart Discuss Flight Crash Investigation

Algiers, July 30 (QNA) – Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra on Wednesday held a telephone discussion with his Malian counterpart Abdoulaye Diop on the arrangements concerning the ongoing investigation into the crash of plane chartered by Air Algeria, the ministry official told, Algerian Press Service reported.

The discussion is part of the extension of the discussions that the minister of Transport, Amar Ghoul had with the high Malian officials “as part of the consultation and coordination” between the two governments relating to the crash of the plane chartered by Air Algerie, added the ministry.

The exchanges between the two ministers allowed to review the arrangements concerning the investigation as well as the implementation of the necessary cooperation actions between the two concerned countries to completion of the identification of the victims’ bodies “in the best possible conditions,” said the source.
