Doha, April 21 (QNA) – Al-Shamal have qualified for HH Emir’s Cup at
the expense of Al-Shahaniya thanks to a 4-2 win in a game that took
place Friday at Al-Arabi club.
Al-Shamal led 13 minutes into the game through Victor Correia before
Ali Ferydoon doubled their lead by converting from the spot three
Al-Shahaniya pulled one back in the first minute of the second half
from a Fabio Lopez strike inside the penalty box. They brought
themselves back into the game as Mango scored at the 55th minute.
However, Ferydoon scored his second of the game to put Al-Shamal
back in the driving seat on 75 minutes before Ayman Kamal rounded the
win with a fourth goal on 82.
Al-Shamal will take on Al-Khor in the second round of the tournament
