Member of the “Democratic Gathering” Bloc, MP Faisal Al-Sayegh, tweeted today after his visit to Saudi Arabia's Ambassador Walid Al-Bukhari, saying: "The return of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon at this time confirms the extent of its commitment to supporting the Lebanese people in all their segments, and its keenness to protect the Taif Agreement and Lebanon's Arab identity."
He added: “It remains the responsibility of the Lebanese to meet the significant Gulf, Arab and international support that is being exerted to preserve Lebanon's sovereignty and to assist in the plan for its economic revival.”
“Lebanon is Arab, Arab, Arab, and will remain an Arab!” Al-Sayegh concluded.
