Mohammed Al Emadi: Exemplary model of cooperation in the prestigious event
As the H.H. The Amir Sword Festival is to be launched soon at the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC), it has been announced that Al Hazm will sponsor the feature race of the final day of the Festival, the H.H. The Amir Sword race, which is Qatar’s premier Group One contest for Purebred Arabians. This sponsorship is an extension of the partnership, which has existed between QREC and Al Hazm for 12 years, reflecting the extent of cooperation between the two parties and their aspiration to achieve more successes, especially as this sponsorship contributed to supporting many of the races organised by QREC over the past years.
The sponsorship was announced in a press conference held at Al Hazm on Wednesday, 16 February evening. Acting CEO of QREC Bader Mohamed Al Darwish and CEO of Al Emadi Enterprises and Al Hazm Mohamed Abdul Karim Al Emadi addressed the press conference.
Al-Hazm’s sponsorship of the Gold Sword race, as one of the most important and awaited events of the three-day Festival at Al Rayyan Racecourse, will naturally enhance the rivalry between the owners, trainers and jockeys participating in finale of the Festival.
Al Mohannadi: Positive impact of Festival
With the announcement of this sponsorship, His Excellency Issa bin Mohammed Al Mohannadi, QREEC Chairman, said: “The continuation of cooperation with the sponsoring companies and their keenness to support the His Highness The Amir Sword Festival is a key factor in achieving our goals and the great success we look forward to, given the Festival’s importance and positive impact on the racing season in Qatar in general. The growing international representation in the Festival demonstrates the strength and significance of the Festival year after year. Cooperation has already been there with Al Hazm, represented by Mr Mohammed Abdul Karim Al Emadi, CEO of Al Emadi Enterprises and Al Hazm, whom I would like to thank for such cooperation, as evidenced by his keenness to participate in sponsoring the His Highness the Amir s Sword Festival for several years now. This year Al Hazm will sponsor the main race, the His Highness The Amir Sword. From our side, we have recently completed all the organisational arrangements for hosting the Festival to produce this prestigious event in a manner befitting its stature and the standing of Qatar’s horseracing as well.”

Mr Mohammed Abdul Karim Al Emadi, CEO of Al Emadi Enterprises and Al Hazm, said: “Our collaboration with QREC and sponsorship of the H.H.
