Doha, - Deputy Secretary General of the Arab League Ambassador Ahmed bin Heli highlighted the State of Qatar's active role and notable positions towards regional issues, mainly the Palestinian and Syrian causes.
In an interview with Qatari daily (Al-Watan), Ambassador bin Heli recognized Qatar's humanitarian role in crisis-hit countries, referring to its role in elevating the suffering of Yemeni and Syrian refugees, and sending relief convoys and aid to help the people in distress.
Meanwhile, bin Heli shed light on the Arab League's role in resolving Arab crises. He underlined that the Arab League seeks a political and peaceful solution to the Syrian issue, and recognizes the legitimacy of Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi and the Yemeni legitimate government.
On the other hand, the Arab League Deputy Secretary General affirmed that the Palestinian cause remains the Arab first and main issue, urging all Arab countries to join forces and unite efforts to support the Palestinian people.
