Agricultural Investments up 7.5% in Tunisia

Tunis, June 25 (QNA) – Tunisia’s approved agricultural investments up to the period ending May 2014 reached 194.3 Million dinars (MTD) compared to 180.7 MTD in the same period in 2013, an increase by 7.5%.

The Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Investments (APIA) said, “Approved investments during the first five months of 2014 averaged 357MTD compared to 424.9MTD for the same period in 2013, a decrease by 15%.”
Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) into the country dropped by 15.1% to 406.5MTD from 478.8MTD for the same period in 2013. (QNA)
