Gabbia scored a late goal to earn AC Milan a hard-fought victory over their city rivals Inter Milan on Sunday in matchday 5 of the Italian Serie A.
Christian Pulisic opened the scoring for AC Milan in the 10th minute, while Matteo Gabbia secured the win with a goal in the 89th minute. Federico Dimarco netted Inter Milan’s only goal in the 28th minute.
With this victory, AC Milan’s points total increased to 8, placing them in seventh position, trailing Inter Milan, who are in sixth, on goal difference.
