Jericho - Ma'an - On Saturday evening, a child was martyred and another was injured by Israeli occupation forces' bullets during their storming of Aqabat Jabr camp, south of Jericho. Media sources said that the occupation forces stormed the camp and opened fire on two citizens while they were near the western cemetery in the camp, resulting in the death of the child, Ahmed Sharif Walid Hamidat (16 years old), shot by the occupation soldiers. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that the occupation forces prevented its crews from reaching the injured and providing them with the necessary aid, before arresting them from the scene. Later, the Red Crescent announced that its crews received from the occupation forces the body of a child martyr (15 years old) at one of the military checkpoints south of the city, and he is being transferred to Jericho Governmental Hospital, while the other injured person remains detained by the occupation and no information is available about his health condition.
